Hello, my name is Abigail. I'm very creeped out by "My Shadow," as it calls itself, but I feel like I should trust it. Would you? I've always felt drawn to magic tricks and fantasy books, especially ghost stories. I like the feeling of goosebumps. They relax me for some reason. Will you be my pen pal?

ReplyDeleteI think I know why you like scary, haunting stories. They remind you that you are not alone in encountering the evilest or nicest of spirits. They assure you that you are not the only one who is spoken to by "aliens", shall we say. I almost feel jealous of you because your shadow is writing to you. For me, that would be the most exciting thing. I hope your shadow continues writing to you, I want to see what happens next.
(To the author of her story: I think something suspenseful should happen when she goes to meet her shadow. At first, she is doubtful, then when she appears, she sees a shadow "appearing so suddenly that it might have been there the whole time". I don't know, but just make it suspenseful.)
Anyway, Abigail, I hope you and your shadow meet in person.
